Seattle Center Foundation invites you to step back in time and remember the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair by sharing your experiences on our website. We are collecting original stories, photos, and videos to create a “people’s history” of the fair in celebration of its 50th anniversary in 2012. We welcome and encourage your stories throughout the year, but between September 21 and October 20, 2011 we will be giving away three autographed copies of our new book, The Future Remembered: The 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and its Legacy (see below).

Winners will receive an autographed copy of The Future Remembered: The 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and its Legacy, the new official commemorative book of the 50th anniversary celebration. All you have to do to participate is visit our site and publish your (or a family member’s) story from the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair between September 21, 2011 and October 20, 2011. Winners will be randomly selected at the end of the month. All ages are welcome to participate.
